A fast-growing independent agency with 10 members of staff is on the hunt for a talented and creative PR professional with a passion for wine, gin, or whiskey or the luxury or FMCG sector. The agency works with well-known brands like Bombay Sapphire and Whitley Neill. They have deep industry expertise and form global campaigns that reach different markets in an informed way. You needn't come from a luxury communication background but consumer brand experience is required with an interest in the drinks industry.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice to clients while harnessing your knowledge of the issues that face their specific industry and brand

  • To be considered you'll require existing PR Account Manager experience as you'd be managing a Junior Account Manager, Senior Account Executive and Account Executive

  • Produce creative ideas to generate a buzz

  • Media training

  • Sell in stories to the media (newspapers, magazines, radio, television, and online news sites)

  • Manage and inspire your juniors

  • Newsjacking

  • Devise brand partnership ideas

  • Harness data to produce informed campaign ideas

  • Be able to convert projects to retained work through the production of awe-inspiring work that reaches the objectives of clients who operate in a competitive market.

  • Keep abreast of current PR trends and tools across both traditional media platforms, and new platforms (social media, podcasting, Clubhouse etc.)

  • Organise events, launches, experiences and brand collaborations

  • Liaise with talent as well as thought leaders and CEOs

  • Get involved in pitching for new business and developing PR proposals

  • Ensure there is synergy in messaging across multiple platforms
