To be considered for this position you'd require existing PR agency experience (at least 5 months) and experience in gaining coverage in either a B2B or B2C capacity. This agency works with big-budget well-known brands that would appeal to a foodie who belives in nurturing the creative and strategic part of the mind.


Key responsibilities and requirements:

  • Creative input into PR plans

  • Some day-to-date reporting to clients

  • Draft agendas and contact reports for client meetings

  • Support on content for evaluation documents

  • Draft photography and other creative briefs

  • Work with the team to develop interesting story angles, PR campaigns and thought leadership ideas for client projects

  • Pitch to national, regional, lifestyle and trade food media

  • Draft media materials, including key messages, press packs, factsheets and press releases

  • Build relationships with target media and industry influencers, including accompanying colleagues to meeting with journalists on a regular basis to understand forward features and relevant angles to pitch across the agency’s accounts

  • Monitor forward feature lists, press calls, editorial team changes

  • Compile press lists for client campaigns

  • Regularly read target press and new media titles/influencers, to stay on top of opportunities

  • Monitoring media for client mentions, and articles that affect/are of interest to clients

  • Mounting and logging media coverage, and drafting sell-backs of our coverage to clients

  • Support in delivering press events and campaigns

  • Draft media interview briefing notes for clients

  • Monitor social media

  • Draft social media posts and source appropriate accompanying imagery

  • Provide industry event support (e.g. booking requirements for industry events, from agents events to trade shows)

  • Remain on top of the news agenda and industry trends

  • Draft copy for the website (case studies and blog)

  • Draft copy for social media platforms

  • Input into new business pitch documents including research
