Our Founder
Your Story Recruitment was founded by Amy Pattison-Emms. Amy’s background is in journalism, shaping a curious nature with an eye for the big picture and a career that has seen her flourish in agency life, both as a recruiter and a marketing professional. Having worked on both sides of the table, Amy has refined a diverse skill set and a passion for people that have seen her become a trusted advisor and thought leader in the communications sector.
Amy is focussed on building lasting relationships with her partners and the candidates she works with, growing teams that become friends, and helping businesses grow organically by recruiting the right people.
Originally from South Africa, and calling a number of other countries ‘home’, Amy brings diversity of perspective to an industry that has long been in need of revitalisation.
