A group-owned firm is on the hunt for an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager with either financial or professional services experience, the HQ is in London but its offices span the US, Continental Europe, and Asia. They work with well-known financial and professional services within the asset management, private equity, commercial banking, advisory, mortgage and pension space. They also work with brands like Capital One credit card, Virgin Money and Direct Line. They cover ESG, media training, crisis communications, strategy, influencer relations, consumer, financial PR, and whitepaper writing.
Key responsibilities and requirements:
You’ll have existing PR agency experience
Implementation and oversight of client account work – working closely with junior and senior members of the team and not afraid to manage upwards
Confident in coming up with creative ideas, thinking about new and exciting ways to speak to key audiences
Comfortable with using data for PR purposes e.g. drafting omnibus questions and interpreting findings to tell the right story
Coaching, mentoring and managing junior members of the team
Able to proactively source opportunities for clients e.g.: news hijacking, features, interviews, profiles
Media relations skills and demonstrate ability to use platforms like Gorkana, Roxhill, as well as social media platforms
Demonstrate digital PR and online monitoring skills
Create written content including press releases, features, comments, social media posts
Comfortable reading technical client documents and with data and market research
Be aware of the news agenda and familiar with relevant media across different channels
