A small agency that spearheads strategic communications programmes for some of the UK’s most exciting and high-profile urban transformation projects is on the lookout for an Account Manager. Their work spans city and town centre regeneration, retail and leisure destinations, and new and evolving neighbourhoods and districts, and their role is to raise the profile of these places undergoing change, as well as the people and organisations that shape them.
Key responsibilities and requirements:
Media networking and liaising across relevant beats; Maintaining strong relationships with media through regular one-to-one appointments and meetings
You'll require existing PR experience
Developing social media strategies and ensuring juniors implement them with a flair
Devising strategies and providing high level client counsel
Offering strategic counsel to clients
Manage and inspire your juniors
Effectively manage reactive media relations and issues management
Organise roundtables, conferences, speaking opportunities and meetings
Consistently producing high-quality internal and external communications content
Contribute to the agency's new business efforts
Attend networking events and conferences to develop relationships
